I’m currently enrolled in the Masters in Business Administration program, with a concentration in Management, through Florida Tech University Online degree programs. I will be graduating December 2011. I currently work as a Division Manager for Restaurant Technologies, Inc., the developer, distributor and service provider of the food service industry’s leading automated solution for storing, handling and disposing of cooking oil.

I have been very fortunate to have numerous opportunities to grow within my company over the past 9 years; however, I have always known in the back of my head that obtaining a formal business education to supplement my Bachelor of Science Undergrad degree would be paramount for future career success. So, I decided to take the plunge and enroll in FIT’s MBA program. To say this decision has been a game changer, would be an understatement! Commencing the MBA program was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I chose FIT for many reasons, such as the challenging curriculum, the class scheduling and flexibility (i.e. one class at a time) and the cost effective program.

In the past two years of enrollment, I have been challenged to juggle both education and a job that requires substantial travel, to learn new material while enhancing my business acumen, and to experience international business firsthand. This past summer I was fortunate to join fellow FIT students in the Study Abroad program in Madrid, Spain. During that week, we received lectures from renowned professors from ESIC, an International business and marketing school, while partaking in company visits to TNT and Carrefour. These are experiences I will cherish and take with me throughout my career. I would highly recommend FIT’s MBA program for all working professionals looking to enhance their education and take their career to the next level.
