Exploration Day, Aug. 23, 2019
Florida Tech Exploration Day is an on-campus visit event focusing on students interested in attending Florida Tech for any of our world-class programs of study. Students and their families will have a chance to experience all that Florida Tech has to offer, including talking with admission staff members, meeting current students and speaking with faculty while on campus. Exploration Day is a great way to “explore” the Florida Tech campus and experience the Florida Tech way of life, for a day.
Exploration Day will allow you to hear about and better understand the admission and financial aid processes, take a campus tour, meet with faculty members in your area of study, tour labs and facilities associated with your department, and experience our beautiful sub-tropical campus.
Registration is mandatory. Information regarding parking, directions and other pertinent information will be provided in a return email. Upon check-in, we will provide your specific itinerary, campus map, and important information about your visit. You’ll also have a chance to receive information about the university, program of interest, admissions and financial aid.

The following is the general schedule you can expect for Exploration Day. Please note it is subject to change.
8:30 a.m. Check In at Gleason Center for the Performing Arts
9:00 a.m. Admission and Financial Aid Overview
10:00 a.m. Campus Tours
11:30 a.m. Academic Department Meetings
1:15 p.m. Academic Department Meetings & Engineering Tours (details provided at check-in)
2:00 p.m. Airport Flight Line Tour (aviation students)
Admission Counselors are available until 4:00 pm for questions or guidance.
