Lecture: The Evolution Of The Modern Vampire, Aug. 8, 2019

During this lecture hosted by Florida Tech’s Lifelong Scholar Society, attendees will explore what it is about vampires that captivates the imagination.

With charm and fangs, the vampire is danger in a pleasing package. Today’s vampires can be allies, romantic partners and even heroes, but they are also deadly predators. This presentation looks at both sides of the vampire: the powerful friend and object of desire, and the monstrous enemy lurking in the shadows.

Thursday, August 8
