The Cross Cultural Management Summit, sponsored by the Institute for Cross Cultural Management, is a structured forum for global professionals to work together to solve real-world cross cultural management problems using the very best in evidence-based practice. The students in the Industrial Organizational Psychology program at Florida Tech serve on the summit organizing committee and are involved in all aspects of the event.
The focus of the summit is real-world strategic questions collected from multinational companies and global service organizations such as the military. Topics include measuring cross cultural competence, global leadership, and conflict management across cultures. Participants network with thought leaders to dig deeper into these topics and discuss possible solutions and future collaboration. For a weekend we are able to bring the world to Florida Tech, and the students have a chance to learn more about the challenges they will face when they graduate and develop their professional network.
