Coming soon to the Evans Library is Americans in Space: From Mercury to Columbia, an exhibition of NASA photographs documenting the history of American manned space flight from the inaugural Mercury launches through the lunar landing and finally to the maiden flight of the Space Shuttle Columbia.
Evans Library has been busy adding new study spaces and resources for our students, faculty, and staff. We’ve even switched some things around: group study rooms are now located on the 3rd floor, and some librarians now reside on the 4th floor. We have standing tables, whiteboard tables, tech loans, and more improvements to make your time in the library more productive and enjoyable.
Evans Library welcomes Erin Mahaney! Erin brings to us archive-related experience at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, as well as in academic and public libraries, and serves as Director on the Executive Board of the Society of Florida Archivists. Erin is excited to be at Florida Tech and is looking forward to “collecting and promoting the documentary heritage” of the university.
