Education Without Borders.

by T.D. McCay, Ph.D.

Editor’s Note: Dr. McCay recently returned from a trip to the Middle East where he visited with Florida Tech alumni and explored new partnerships for the university.

The beauty of being at Florida Tech isn’t just that we have students from all over the world but we have graduates all over the world also.  I had a chance to chat with two alums that occupy director general positions in the Middle East.  Both have the responsibility to lead their nation in advancing the social and economic well-being of their country.  One is responsible for human services and the other for aviation programs, in separate countries.  Thanks to Florida Tech I got to hear about their plans first hand, and even be invited to include Florida Tech in some of their initiatives.  The Middle East is both hot and “cool” at the same time.
