Francis Gigantic Presents Make-A-Comic Workshop
Evans Library will host Francis Gigantic of The Gigantic Company on Friday, August 22, from 6-8 pm for a Make-A-Comic Workshop as part of our annual celebration of banned books. Mr. Gigantic will present an overview of the art of comics, best practices for script writing, and some free online tools for creating your own animated comic strips.
Sponsored by the American Library Association and Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, among others, Banned Books Week 2014 features banned and challenged graphic novels, illustration-based narratives written for kids of all ages.
