You need a quiet place where you can hear yourself think! You need to focus. You want a place for uninterrupted study. Try the library’s 4th floor, the SILENT ZONE. At student request, the 4th floor become a place for silent study and work, a place to escape from noisy roommates and other distractions. Turn off your cell phone and focus on your homework, projects, and other assignments. Students and faculty tell us how much they appreciate the SILENT ZONE.
Thank you for keeping the SILENT ZONE silent.
Of course, the Evans Library is also a great place for group study and collaboration. Meet your group on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor, find a room, a table, or a nook, and get to work.
We hope you will find a library space that meets your studying needs. Please let us know if you have comments or suggestions about study areas and other spaces in the library.
