President Catanese: September Is United Way Campaign Time

It’s time once again for Florida Tech to lead the way as the United Way of Brevard launches its 2012 campaign. Our university goal is to surpass last year’s success. In 2011, we raised a record $166,735, making us one of the top campaigns in the county! Our campus campaign chair is Dr. Joni Oglesby, and we appreciate her leadership.

If your gift to the United Way is not currently affiliated with any organization, you can request that your donation be added to Florida Tech’s campaign. This will reinforce to the community what an important role Florida Tech plays in the region. It will not change your giving status or designation of gifts.

The United Way and its agencies remain at the forefront of offering assistance across the Space Coast, and we must continue to support them now so that they remain prepared for the future. United Way of Brevard is seventh in the nation for 10-year campaign growth.
