What We Know: Understanding Media and Its Influence

June 15 – 19th, we’ll be hosting “What we know: Understanding media and its influence,” a day camp for middle school and high school students interested in media.
Every day we’re bombarded with information – it’s important to understand where this information comes from, and what it means. Enrolled campers will learn about information creators, author bias, information sources, social media, ethics in information reporting, data manipulation, and how advertising affects our everyday lives.
We’re very excited to offer this to the Florida Tech community, and we hope that this is the first of many such camps!
