Megan Dennis Named SSC Golfer of the Week
MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech women’s golf’s Megan Dennis has been named the Sunshine State Conference Golfer of the Week, announced by the SSC office on Monday. This is the first conference player of the week award in Dennis’ career.

Dennis had an impressive start to the 2018-19 season this past weekend as she placed third overall at the Lady Falcon Invitational, which was hosted at LPGA International Golf Club’s par-72, 6,117-yard Hill’s Course. Dennis recorded six birdies over the three days and posted round scores of 76-74-74 to finish with a card of 8-over 224 for the tournament.

The Bedfordshire, United Kingdom product’s three-round total of 224 is the best of her collegiate career, while her third-place finish is also a career-best for the sophomore.

Dennis and the rest of the women’s golf team continue their fall portion of their season on Oct. 1-2 at the NCAA Super Regional Preview held at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tennessee.
