Study Shows Reefs Near Equator Are Less Affected By Ocean Warming

A new study from Florida Tech researchers shows ocean warming is affecting coral reefs at or near the equator less than corals elsewhere.

The study was published March 20 in the journal Nature Communications featured the team of Florida Tech Ph.D. student Shannon Sully and professor Rob van Woesik, along with researchers at the University of California at Santa Barbara and Reef Check.
