Twists and Turns in the Game of Life

Things don’t always go as planned in our lives. When we are younger, we have plans for our future and we know exactly how we’d like it to go – what career we’ll pursue, when we’d like to have a family, where we may want to live… yet unexpected twists and turns happen in life and we have to find the motivation and resilience to get through even the biggest challenges and carry on.

Enjoying the ride is the key – living in the present and appreciating every day we have. If you’ve ever driven the Road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii, you’ll understand what they mean when they say “it’s about the journey – not the destination.” The same goes for our own lives.

Don’t be in such a hurry to achieve your goals that you don’t revel in the joys of each day.
