BrowZine is a product that offers a revolutionary new way to browse, read, and monitor journals on your iPad or Android tablet. It works by organizing the articles found in open-access and subscription databases, uniting them into complete journals, then arranging them on a common newsstand. The result is an easy-to-use and familiar way to access scholarly journals across all the disciplines.

Evans Library’s Make-A-Comic workshop, held August 22, was a huge success with thirty-three students, faculty, and staff attending. The workshop was taught by Francis Gigantic of The Gigantic Company who discussed the basics of comic making and went over some iPad apps that are helpful in creating comics. In addition to this event, Evans Library is also hosting a Virtual Readout on Sept. 5 to celebrate Banned Books Week, which has the theme of comics and graphic novels this year.
